The article proposes a methodology for the use of digital technologies in teaching stone sculpture in history at school within the framework of the updated education system. Studying history gives students the benefits of using the trend of digitalization in education to master the topic, increase their interest and enhance their research abilities. These advantages are based on the principle of developing students' creative thinking, creativity and necessary skills. Using the capabilities of digital platforms to cover the topic in history lessons, you can conduct lessons on platforms, complete tasks and create policies for virtual museums. Therefore, the trend of digitalization is of great importance as a tool for the development of the education sector. Students have the opportunity to develop their own research projects using the possibilities of digital technologies, and can be attracted to respect their historical and cultural relics. The purpose of the article is to systematize scientific data concerning stone sculptures, to develop a methodology for using digital learning opportunities in the school curriculum. The article will analyze the scientific and pedagogical works of Russian and domestic scientists who conducted research on the methodology of teaching history, and replenish the information fund, guided by the research of Kazakh archaeologists on stone sculptures of the Turkic period. Theoretical methods of scientific research (induction, deduction, synthesis) were used as the methodological basis of the article.
