The article considers one of the important components of digitalization of education and development of information and communication technologies. The characteristics of digital educational resources are compared using the experience of Kazakhstan and Russia. This topic is most relevant in the light of recent events that have affected not only two neighboring countries, but also the whole world. Of course, we are talking about the Covid-19 pandemic. In modern conditions, the analysis of digital resources and the availability of the latest pedagogical software will help to improve the quality of classes in conditions of quarantine restrictions.
