Each teacher seeks to provide positive motivation for learning and increase the cognitive activity of students. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to use effective methods and innovative technologies. The innovative process in education is closely related to research activities. New times have raised new questions. Society is changing, the attitude towards the subject is changing. In the process of development, students have the ability to self-organize and motivate cognitive activity, to use elements of causal and structural-functional analysis to determine the essential characteristics of the studied object, to choose their own comparison criteria. The article deals with the practical application of innovative methods of learning the lessons of history and social studies for students of pedagogical high school in the conditions of realization of the State Program of Education Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2020. Particular attention is paid to interactive teaching methods.
