Steppe memory has preserved its national identity through “places of memory” that carry information about the historical dynamics of development of statehood and its prospects. The steppe reflects the historical names of places, states, cities, monuments and prepare the conditions for the Kazakh state emergence.
The article is devoted to the problem of the initial period of Kazakh statehood in the steppe. The 15th century is a critical period of so-called “big game” among the leaders – as Genghisides in the steppe. Rethinking of the process of creating the “Kazakh Khanate” in 1465 also the role of the leaders as Kerey and Zhanibek Khan in realizing the prospects for the further development of Kazakh statehood is very important. The perspectives for creating a competitive State were established by the first Kazakh khans through effective strategies and strengthening Kazakh statehood and its influence in the steppe.
