The state program “Madeni Mura” (“Cultural Heritage”) has acquired great importance in the development of science and culture of Kazakhstan. When adopting this program, the experience of foreign programs in this area was taken into account. The Kazakhstani program is guided by laws and regulations, adopted by international organizations, relating to the development of culture, and relied on the experience of similar programs in the Russian Federation, France and others. The program that appeared in the post-Soviet space and based on the revival of national statehood is aimed at the formation of historical knowledge, historical identity in the country and popularization of cultural values of the young state.
