Abstract

One of the most tragic aspects of the history of the Greek people was the deportation of Stalin. Almost the overwhelming majority of the Greek peoples who inhabited the north and east coast of the Black Sea were deported to the southern region of Kazakhstan. Since the 1930s, the Greeks began to move. What they went through almost completely did not reach them. This paper examines the history of the deportation of the Greek population and their living conditions, way of life, socio–economic situation in the resettlement region, the role in the development of industry and agriculture. The purpose of this work is to restore the chronological order of the deportation of Greeks, their settlement in the southern regions of Kazakhstan and conduct research within the framework of the concept of the history of their daily life. he article will cover the life and geographical location, employment of Greeks deported to the territory of Kazakhstan, their contribution to the development of agriculture in the Southern region, relations with the local population, the process of adaptation to the new land, housing and food issues and the preservation of subsequent national identity. Much attention is paid to the practical significance of studying the history of special relocations to Kazakhstan and work on their placement.
