The article examines the history of the activity of the Alash intelligentsia in the formation of a national public organization - the Kazakh Committees. Kazakh committees were formed within the framework of the Alash movement after the Ferala Revolution, in 1917, and continued their activities until the outbreak of the Civil War. Despite the short period of existence, Kazakh committees played a significant role in the socio-political life of Kazakhstan at the beginning of the twentieth century. Kazakh committees are the fruit of the socio-political activity of the Alash intelligentsia of the early XX century. In addition, the activity of Kazakh committees is an indicator of the ability, high political literacy, organizational abilities of Alash figures. The creation of the Kazakh Committees after the February bourgeois-democratic Revolution was the first real attempt to solve the issue of the national state structure in Kazakhstan. Many of the national intelligentsia were repressed during the Soviet period for their participation in the Alash movement.
Archival documents, materials of the periodical press of that time as «Kazakh», «Birlik Tuy», «Saryarka», etc., as well as the works of the national intelligentsia who participated in the activities of the Kazakh committees that were subjected to repression during the Soviet era were used as a source. In addition, the data on the history of the activities of the Alash intelligentsia in the creation of national public organizations-Kazakh committees are analyzed in detail. The author analyzed the activities of the intelligentsia of the Kazakh people for the Kazakh country through the Kazakh committees.
