The Aktobe branch of the Society for the Study of Kazakhstan began work in 1923, and on December 6, 1925, the Charter of the Company was approved. A statement by the inspector of the Aktobe Provincial Department of Education Kudaibergen Kuanuly Zhubanov (1899-1938), a graduate of the Khusainiya Madrasah, with a request to admit to the Society for the Study of Kazakhstan dated April 5, 1926, where he wrote: “I can to assist the community in collecting material on cultural, domestic and ethnographic conditions of the region”. In the 1920s, K.K. Zhubanov stood at the cradle of primary and secondary education in the Aktobe region as an inspector of public education in Temir Uyezd. In 1925, he joined the Aktobe Provincial Department of Public Education as an instructor-methodologist. Aktobe local history experts carried out a number of independent local history expeditions in the vicinity of the city of Aktyubinsk, the results of which later served as the basis for the creation of a local history museum. The museum has become a scientific center for the study of the history of the Aktobe region. Here, lectures and lectures on local history were read, a lot of work was done to collect and organize materials, meetings of the Aktobe branch of the Society were held in the museum. In 1928-1929, the Aktobe branch of the Company began work on the organization of regional branches and sections. With the aim of economic development of the region, 11 geological trips were conducted in the Aktobe region. On the basis of archival data, the role of Aktobe local history experts in disseminating knowledge about the natural resources of the Aktobe region was analyzed by giving lectures, reading reports, publishing articles in the newspapers Aktobe Pravda and Socialist Zholy.
