Abstract

The article describes the history of the migrated population, who left their native places in the 1920s and 1930s in protest against political repression caused by the implementation of agricultural reforms by the Soviet government in Kazakhstan. The migration covered all regions of Kazakhstan. The history of migration to Uzbekistan and the return to their homeland of residents of the southern regions has not yet been fully investigated and will be scientifically restored on the basis of archival documents. About how the Kazakh Regional Committee of the UCP(b), the authorities and the government of the republic carried out organizational, financial and ideological work related to the return of those who migrated, who could not stop the mass exorcism that occurred during the reforms in protest against such a policy. Within the framework of this topic, a historiographic review was compiled, archival data are presented in circulation and the conclusions formulated in the research work to date are analyzed. In the 20-30 years of the XX century, on a scientific basis, the causes and consequences of migration to Uzbekistan as a result of the political repression of the Kazakh people were analyzed, an assessment was made of the issue of determining the estimated number of emigrants and re-emigrants, as well as the political, organizational activities of the central and local authorities of that time.
