Abstract

The article presents some results of a sociological study "Development of a set of mechanisms for the modernization of anti-corruption policy in the context of improving the quality of life and welfare of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan." The main attention is paid to the study of the methodology used in various sociological studies of corruption, as well as the analysis of various methodological approaches of sociological studies in the context of improving quality.The main research focus is on the comparison of interests, and conclusions were studied and drawn on methods for measuring corruption, which allow not only to assess its general level in the country, but also to identify the sectors most prone to corruption. This approach allows the authors to identify the algorithm of methods for measuring corruption. Corruption indicators act as a kind of indicators of the political, economic and social situation, which is of great importance for the implementation of anti-corruption policy.The analysis of approaches to questioning, the most frequently asked questions to respondents was carried out. An assessment was made of the objectivity of sociological surveys of the perception of corruption, as well as their effectiveness in terms of developing measures to improve the living standards and welfare of the population
