The article analyzes the socio-political activities of one of the prominent figures of the Kazakh people, Idris Mustambayuly, who was innocently punished as a result of Stalin's political repressions of the 20-30s of the twentieth century, during the period of his political arrest in 1933 and execution in 1937.
After the archives of the National Security Committee, the Ministry of the Interior were closed until recent years, it was not possible to fully disclose such questions as to why he was convicted a second time after January 1933, that is, after his conviction, despite the fact that his time expired, how much did he admit to the charges, when and where did he die? And it was not possible to fully reveal the answers to other problematic questions.
In connection with the work on the full rehabilitation of victims of political repression, in accordance with the instruction of the Head of State on November 24, 2020, after the issuance of Decree № 456 "on the establishment of a commission for the full rehabilitation of victims of political repression", it became possible to further conduct research related to the socio-political activities of the figure. As a result, on the basis of archival documents, it was revealed that there were many violations in connection with the charges against him. Idris Mustambayuly did not admit that he created or was a member of an anti-Soviet organization, no matter how much the employees of the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs investigated. The study provides a comprehensive analysis of the socio-political activities of the figure in the last period of his life according to archival documents that have been closed so far.
