As a result of the research carried out, the museum collections of the Zhetysu region of the early Iron Age were studied according to morphological, decorative, technological and other principles of analyzing of data, taking into account the existing regional cultural and chronological schemes, and conducting research work. In the course of research work, the funds and archives of the Almaty Regional Museum of History and Local Lore named after M. Tynyshpayev and subordinate organizations - the Historical and Local Lore Museum of the village of Shelek, the Historical and Local Lore Museum of the Rayymbek District, the Memorial Museum named after Ch. Valikhanov "Altynemel," the Archaeological and Local Lore Museum of the city of Esik, was examined in order to collect information on the subject The richest from researched were the funds of the Almaty Regional Museum of History and Local Lore named after M. Tynyshpayev, the Archaeological and Local Lore Museum of the city of Esik, especially in terms of ceramic material. Objects from the funds of other museums became single, but unique, we are talking about a stone altar, peculiarly designed in the artistic plan, discovered in the funds of the Memorial Museum named after Ch. Valikhanov. The collection of the Saka-Wusun era of museums in Almaty region is annually replenished with new finds and is open for study. The meticulous study of individual artifacts, their interpretation and chronological definition significantly complement ideas about the architecture of the funeral and memorial structures of Saka and Wusun tribe, highlighting each period's features.
