ROLE OF THE MEDIA IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF POLITICAL CULTURE OF KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract

A brief overview of the main directions of media activity in Kazakhstan shows that they have become a key mechanism in the process of democratization of the country. The media created an ideological environment for the growth and strengthening of civil society institutions, contributed to the formation of a new political culture of Kazakhstanis, determined social programs and contributed to the formation of spiritual, cultural and social values ​​of the unity of the people of Kazakhstan. Explained the common place of capitalism of the people of Kazakhstan. Modern exchanges have demonstrated the mechanisms for overcoming the difficulties of the transition period, taught methods and techniques. By promoting and explaining the principles of social harmony, political stability, tolerance and humanism, the media has accelerated the difficult process of building a democratic state.

During the formation of a democratic state in Kazakhstan, various contradictions arose in the worldview of citizens. The most difficult of them was the question of harmony and rivalry between national values ​​and modern universal human values. The globalization of information and communication systems has weakened the ideological and political barriers between peoples and cultures. The people of Kazakhstan saw and began to perceive other cultural values, social priorities, and other life traditions. This situation has become a threat to the national security and state independence of the country. The strategic task of the Kazakh media was to foster the outlook and life position of citizens of Kazakhstan who are able to resist the economic and financial expansion of transnational corporations in Kazakhstan, the religious expansion of world religions, the cultural expansion of Western mass culture, the aggressive expansion of extremist radicalist groups and, most difficult, the geopolitical expansion of priority world powers. ...
