Abstract

    The article describes in detail the ways of cardinal changes in economic ties and relations conducted in Kazakhstan from the mid-1960s to the 1990s. The most important branch of the national economy of Kazakhstan is agriculture. In the 1960s, new state farms were created in Kazakhstan on the basis of small collective farms. It is envisaged how large farms at that time fulfilled the task of providing the population with food. To what extent the measures taken by the authorities to improve the social and living standards of rural workers have been implemented, the reasons for this are indicated. The characteristic is given that the increase in the social and living standards of workers depends on the level of development of the country's economy.
