Abstract

This article underlines a situation with demographic outburst, which has been a part of a demographical transition undergone by Kazakhs from the 50s up to the first half of the 60s in the 20th century. The unique feature of the Kazakh version of demographic transition being the result of differences in a settling system and economical activities of Kazakh and non-titular population, is ethnical differentiation of its transition stages.
Demographic resources acquired in the 50s and 60s of the 20th century, neutralized the consequences of demographic disasters of 1920-30s and, as the result of the influence of “demographic waves”, became a basis for Kazakh ethnicity growths in the following decades, including the beginning of the 21st century.
