In the era of spiritual modernization of the country, the goal of activating economic sitautsii is one of the urgent problems of modern times.
The basis of this problem is the influence of the historical significance of the activation of the economic situation of the Great silk road on the process of globalization. This is evidenced by the approval of the 1998 program "Revival of historical centers along the great silk road, preservation of continuity of cultural development of Turkic-speaking States, creation of tourism infrastructure" and the adoption in 2008 in Geneva of a large-scale project to restore part of the silk road by the Ministers of 19 countries, including Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Turkey and Iran. The article contains the history of the great silk road on the territory of Kazakhstan, its impact on the country's economy, international relations of our ancestors, and the development of trade. In addition, information about the economic development of ancient cities of Kazakhstan that passed the great silk road is presented.
