The article is devoted to the study of government requirements for modern graduates, due to the changed social order for training of competitive specialists; topical issues of development of information and graphic and electronic culture, the use of digital technologies in the educational process of higher schools, as well as the requirements for the higher school taking into account the socio-economic conditions and objectives set by the government high school. In the age of the information revolution, a strong lag in the use of digital educational technologies creates a serious danger in a sharp drop in the quality of education and dissatisfaction with public needs.
