In this article Central Asia is discussed, which represents a huge region, occupying almost ten percent of the entire territory of the Asian continent. It is located in the very center of Eurasia and is an important geopolitical crossroads between Europe and Asia, a bridge between cultures and civilizations. In addition, the region plays a high role for international trade and economic relations, as well as a transcontinental transport
and logistics route. In ancient times, the Great Silk Road passed through its territory, which has now received a new impulse.
