Abstract

The article discusses the content and scientific and methodological foundations of the elective course "Kazakhs in the 20-30s of the XX century", designed to teach the problem of mass refugees of the Kazakh people as a result of socio-political changes in Kazakhstan in the 20-30s of the XX century. The purpose of the study is to provide an effective methodology for teaching this course through the use of historical data, new archival documents and digital history technologies and identify opportunities for its implementation in educational practice. The study analyzed statistical data, memoirs, periodicals, and the educational potential of digital resources. The article identifies the importance of data-based teaching principles in historical education and presents examples of educational tasks that allow students to comprehensively understand historical events. It also describes the possibilities of digital history, in particular, the features of teaching historical processes using interactive maps, digital archives, databases, multimedia platforms and visualization tools. In the course of teaching the course, the authors pay special attention to the methods of comparative analysis of historical data, interpretation of documents, work with historical maps, development of digital projects and organization of research work. The results of the study show that the integrated use of historical data and digital technologies contributes to the development of historical thinking skills, critical analysis abilities, research competencies and historical consciousness of students. In addition, the proposed methodology allows students to deeply understand the complex and urgent problems of National History, Form historical memory and improve their skills in independent work with data. The scientific and methodological conclusions presented in the article are aimed at application in the practice of teaching the history of Kazakhstan in higher educational institutions and general education schools.
