Sh.Murtaza is a person recognized in the Kazakh society primarily as a writer, articles and essays,stories and novels arising from his pen are always valuable for raising pressing issues.In this article, we showed the importance of Sherkhan Murtaza's works for us that he is a writer with a great originality, who constantly turns to historical issues in his articles, essays, and even in his diaries, covering a wide range of historical topics. The creative heritage and personal archive fund help to reveal the value of his public, figure activities and scientific and creative works and are the core of his research. Excerpts from the manuscripts of the collection "Auyldy Sen sagynam", published by the Sherkhan Murtaza Center for spirituality and historical studies of the akimat of Zhambyl region and the Department of culture, archives and documentation, stored in the House in the village of Talapty, Zhualinsky district, in the course of writing a scientific article, letters and diaries in the student's youth were used by this personal fund. The main goal of the study is to determine the ways of creative and personal formation of the writer by analyzing the diaries and letters of Sh.Murtaza, his stories and essays on historical topics.In accordance with this goal,the tasks are determined, that is, the role of diaries and letters in the work of the writer, the historical story is analyzed the historical nature of the essays. The article used retrospective, comparative methods. Historical conclusions in the diaries and letters of sh.Murtaza, stories and essays, the works of Z.Validi, interviews with Duman Anash and data based on an additional document were substantiated by historical reality. Through the diaries, letters, essays and historical works of sh.Murtaza, we showed that the writer made a great contribution to our history, as well as to our literature.
