Abstract

The consolidation of the Central Asian countries in the context of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is based on the traditional relations of friendship and brotherhood. In the light of new globalization processes and policy transformation in the world, the five Central Asian countries need to focus on priority areas of interaction and cooperation. The article deals with the most important aspects of cooperation between Central Asian countries, such as regional integration and security of countries. The article also analyzes the opinions of experts who study the economy and energy system of the region by Richard Pomfret and Anatole Boutier. Central Asia is a region with huge energy reserves, but according to Professor Anatole Boutier, the region's energy system is extremely inefficient and unreliable, and requires urgent reform and transformation. And according to researcher Richard Pomfret, the countries of Central Asia have opened a window of opportunity to achieve a more sustainable economic future and consider the increased role of the region in world politics.
