Abstract

The Kurds, the Indo-European people of the Middle East and Asia, who live at the junction of the Arab, Turkish and Persian worlds, have a tribal system of organization of their society. One of the characteristics of the Kurds is their fighting nature, and therefore the Muslim empires and caliphates, from the Umayyads to the Ottomans, used them as a military force. The Kurdish question attracts the attention of researchers around the world who are trying to find new methodological approaches to the study of the Kurdish question, studying it through the prism of multiculturalism in solving the Kurdish question in Turkey, the tribal organization of the Kurdish community, using regional ethnography to identify the ethnographic features of the Kurds in each of their countries of residence, which is often ignored by political analysts. Nevertheless, the key question remains: how long will the Kurdish people be in search of their statehood?
