The article examined the data and memories of the environment in which Shakarim haji grew up and his relatives as an object of research. In difficult times in the Kazakh society of the early twentieth century. Shakarim haji was not only engaged in creative work, but also interested in the problems of society, was fond of history, religion, philosophy, and genealogy. His rich heritage, books and philosophical thoughts became spiritual food for the intelligentsia of the early twentieth century. Shakarim's abilities and qualities were undoubtedly influenced by his ancestors and close relatives, who were speakers among the people. In order to study the environment in which Shakarim grew up, the materials that he himself wrote were taken as a basis for subsequent research, too. Oral data on the topic and materials stored in Professor A. Isin's personal fund were also studied, for a deeper understanding of the environment in which Shakarim grew up. Scientific searches, such as examining photographs of Shakarim Kudayberdyuly, physical data at the well he excavated, as well as information about descendants using the historical comparative method and grouping the names of loved ones, information about their life path, allowed us to take a fresh look at Shakarim's personality from the point of view of relatives.
