The article, based on archival documents, analyzes and examines the various fates of citizens exiled from the Kazygurt district of the Southern region during the campaign to confiscate the property of the kulaks in 1928-1938. In addition, an objective assessment is given of the political and social situation of the region's population on the basis of various departmental archival material. Also, working on the lists of confiscated and repressed citizens in the specified area, effectively using archival materials, maximum actions have been taken to solve this problem.
In addition, the tragic fate of a number of repressed representatives of religion in 1937-1938 in the Kazygurt region was analyzed and assessed and an attempt was made to find out the details of the criminal case fabricated against them.
Along with this, an attempt was made to use data from court documents and investigative cases as an important source when studying repressive policies concerning famous persons of the Kazygurt region who were subjected to political repression in 1937-1938. For example, in relation to innocent citizens like M. Narbotaev, a full analysis of the investigation reports and court verdicts was considered. In other words, the investigative cases of innocent citizens convicted in those harsh times were analyzed in detail, and the goals of political repression were clarified. To this end, the criminal case against this citizen, innocently persecuted during the period of political repression in Soviet Kazakhstan, was thoroughly investigated on the basis of documents and investigative materials from the special state archive of the Shymkent Police Department.
