Religion is an important aspect of a people's culture and identity. In the context of Kazakh culture, religiosity plays a key role, reflecting the historical, sociocultural and spiritual aspects of society.

The article highlights some aspects of the religious consciousness and worldview of the Kazakhs. Analysis of the causes and consequences of possible intra-confessional tensions and conflicts in modern Kazakhstan, issues of the formation of ethno-confessional harmony, cultural and spiritual unity of Kazakhstan.

The main directions and ideas of the study include an analysis of the historical aspects of the formation of the religious traditions of the Kazakhs.

This study has important scientific significance, as it allows us to better understand the historical and sociocultural characteristics of the ethnic group. In addition, it is of practical value for government and public organizations dealing with issues of national policy, interreligious dialogue and cultural development.
