The article examines the results of the study of burials with undercuts at the Myntobe burial ground Myntobe burial ground is located on a high, non-flooded terrace in the lower reaches of the Keles River. In 2017, archaeologists from Akhmed Yasavi International Kazakh-Turkish University excavated the Myntobe burial ground in several places and obtained information about the layout of funerary structures, funerary traditions and material culture. A burial structure of the naus type was found in barrow №1, and a T-shaped catacomb was found under the mound of barrow №3. During excavations in the field season of 2022, in barrows № 9 and №10, along with a T-shaped catacomb connected perpendicularly to the dromos, a burial with a lining was found in the dromos itself. This burial system has not been seen before. The article includes a description of the artefacts from the discovered barrows, the results of radiocarbon analysis of teeth, and the absolute dating of two barrows. Scientific conclusions are drawn.
