The article examines the possibility of revealing the pedagogical potential for the active study of the subject of history through the prism of archeology in school lessons. Introduction of methods of using archaeological materials into modern school pedagogy. The work focuses on new directions in pedagogy and archeology, and their use in the school process. Educational archeology can be included in interdisciplinary curricula, promoting a deeper understanding of history, geography, culture and other scientific fields. The introduction of pedagogical archeology into school education in Kazakhstan is important for the preservation of historical heritage, the development of education and the formation of the cultural consciousness of students.
The article focuses on new trends in archeology, as well as their use in school education. The main value of this article is the results of a questionnaire survey conducted among history teachers. The survey is designed to identify the degree of teachers' satisfaction with the methodology used when conducting history lessons using archaeological materials. The questionnaire is aimed at identifying the degree of satisfaction of school teachers with the use of archaeological methods in history lessons.
