Abstract

The article discusses the issues of rehabilitation of the repressed in the Karaganda region with an analysis of the repressive policy of the Soviet period. The purpose and objectives of the article: to conduct a historical analysis of the arrival of special settlers in the Karaganda region; to study data on famine and the tragedy of political repression in the Karaganda region; to show statistical data with an analysis of political repression in the Karaganda region based on archival data; to determine the stages of rehabilitation of victims of political repression in Kazakhstan in accordance with this purpose, the tasks analyzed the issues of rehabilitation of victims political repression in the Karaganda region.

The features of the repressive policy in Kazakhstan of the twentieth century and the problems of rehabilitation are revealed, data from the archive materials are reflected. The stages of rehabilitation of victims of political repression in Kazakhstan have been determined. The article will also tell about the history of the dislocation of the repressed and deported in the 1920s and 1950s to the Karaganda region, from all over the Soviet Union. In general, among the exiles in the Karaganda region, the largest population was Germans. The question is considered that rehabilitation has been carried out since the 1950s, for many years. During the writing of the article, the problems of rehabilitation were raised, the stages of rehabilitation of victims of political repression in Kazakhstan were determined.
