This article is an analysis of the theoretical and practical aspects of the effectiveness and application of international legal standards in states joining the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). In the course of comprehensive research covering the legal aspects of the EAEU, including the process of developing regulations, the authors come to key results and proposals for optimization that ensure compliance with the bases.
It is emphasized that the effectiveness of international legal norms is a multifaceted concept that reflects the quality and applicability of these norms. The criteria that determine the quality and improvement of international legal norms are analyzed. The authors set out specific recommendations for compliance with the legal norms of the EAEU during ten years of their practical application and effectiveness.
The significance of the study lies in the fact that the proposals and conclusions formulated based on its results can be used as a replacement for bodies and persons authorized to govern international law in the preparation and conclusion of international treaties, and in law enforcement activities.
Conclusions and suggestions can be used in the educational process in a course of international law, when teaching special courses, preparing scientific developments and teaching aids concerning the problems of the mechanism for implementing and stating the achieved result of international legal norms.
