Abstract

Educational work began in ancient times in the Kazakh land. Especially in the settled areas, even in the Middle Ages (VII-VIII centuries), many educational institutions and madrasahs functioned. Famous Abu Nasr al-Farabi studied and studied in the Otrar madrasah, Mahmoud Kashgari, Jusip Balasaguni, Ahmed Iungineki, Khoja Ahmed Yasawi and other great thinkers. XVIII-XIX centuries such madrasahs began to be opened throughout Kazakhstan. In the 50's and 60's of the nineteenth century, there were 84 open and secret religious educational institutions, and by the 20th century, those places would decrease dramatically. It is known from the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries that new trends in the education system of the Kazakh region. At that time in the Kazakh print media there were many opinions of leading figures in the field of education. One of these was the transition from Qaddam teaching to Jaddid teaching. One of the topical issues today is the disclosure of the various changes, the reasons for the closure, and the political developments of these institutions.
