Abstract

The origins and lessons of life, personality and legacy of the Alash movement, which originated on the Kazakh land in the early twentieth century, have become today the most relevant project of the national historical science. The article comprehensively analyzes the Alash and popular uprisings. Also, the popular uprising of 1916 is the result of the Alash movement.

Since independence, hundreds of dissertations on this topic have been defended, thousands of scientific studies have been published. The ideas of Alash and the activities of Alashorda for a short period of time were clearly reflected in their scientific heritage. The rupture of earth and heaven between the Bolshevik word and deed of that period caused discontent among citizens deprived of property, rights, and freedom. Such contradictions pushed to conflict, called for an uprising. In 1916, the classification of society according to the views and positions of the people deepened. When the contradictions went too far, uprisings began. The Alash intelligentsia was very concerned about the fate of the country. It was not possible to unite the country's positions in one direction. Problems within the Kazakhs were covered by representatives of the intelligentsia in the press or in writings. The idea of Alash helped to open the eyes of the people a lot. In 1916, thanks to the uprising, the Kazakh people made a National breakthrough. He was able to become an example for a true generation to become a nation and rise up.
