Abstract

The article considers such demographic indicators that characterize changes in the mortality rate of the population in the East Kazakhstan region in the period from 1999 to 2021 as the life expectancy of the population, the total mortality rate, mortality rates per 1000 people depending on age groups, maternal and infant mortality, causes of mortality among men and women, also, in particular In general, the characteristic of the demographic situation of the region is given. The peculiarity of the East Kazakhstan region is high mortality and a reduction in average life expectancy, which is associated with an increase in the number of "elderly" people, an imbalance in the age structure. Also, the mortality rate of the population in the region is influenced by economic, environmental reasons and the level of health care. As a result, demographic, socio-economic risks are being formed in the region. The state of mortality is a direct manifestation of a significant deterioration in the health of the population. The deterioration of health is ultimately closely related to the entire socio-economic, ecological life of the population. And the infant mortality rate depends on the quality and timeliness of medical care and the organization of anti-epidemic measures. The relevance of the study lies in the probability of compliance of social demands with the demographic situation of the region. An important factor in the demographic process in this region is a comprehensive analysis of changes in the mortality rate of the population.
