Abstract

The article discusses the issue of the popular uprising in the Sairam district in the 30s of the last century , its causes and consequences.Sairam District of Turkestan region is a densely populated region, mainly engaged in dikhanate.Along with the establishment of the Soviet totalitarian system in different regions of national composition, the trend of normal development of the population was disrupted. Especially this situation intensified during the political campaign , which was accompanied by violent collectivization, violent actions directed against private property. This was followed by National Liberation uprisings of a spontaneous nature, which caused mass discontent of the population and covered the entire country. One of these National Liberation uprisings was the Sairam uprising. This article ,written on the basis of previously unknown materials stored in archival funds about the Sairam uprising,completely analyzed the course of the Sairam Uprising, a specific list of its participants, as well as the types of charges against them and the nature of the punishment.In the article,along with the Sairam uprising,some of the other national liberation uprisings that took place in Kazakhstan were considered in a comparative historical context, the common characteristics, consequences and reasons for the failure of the Sairam uprising were shown. The Sairam Uprising has not been the subject of research before
