The tragedy of political persecution in Kazakhstan in the 1920-1950s, which claimed the lives of both the Kazakh intelligentsia and ordinary people, is currently in the focus of attention of both Kazakh scientists and foreign researchers. However, works on intellectual heritage are not enough. Therefore, such problems, which reflect the human mechanism, its scope and destiny, require the attention of researchers. This article is devoted to the biography and creative path, educational heritage and civic image of Kenzhegali Abdullin, a public figure, poet and press worker, who wrote the first alphabet in the Kazakh language and thereby laid the foundations of the Kazakh-national language education. Kenzhegali Abdullin, who received his primary education from a rural mullah and knew the ideas of Jadidism, was the first in the history of Kazakhstan to write the Kazakh "alphabet" and published poetry collections "Kazakh kamy" and "Uran". He worked as an executive editor of newspapers such as "Kedei" (Aktobe), "South Kazakhstan" (Shymkent), which were of great importance for his period.
For the first time presented, materials on the educational and creative heritage and social activities of Kenzhegali Abdullin, one of the best sons of the Kazakh people, an authoritative representative of the Alash intelligentsia of the early twentieth century, who fell victim to the Stalinist terror.
