Abstract

The article examines the daily life of women in cities and villages of the West Kazakhstan region in the period from 1941 to 1945, examines the hardships and tribulations brought by the Great Patriotic War into the daily life of women in the Ural region, their contribution to the victory, as well as the role they played in education.The authors note that the data of archival documents and oral history data on the basis of materials analyzes the daily social life of women of the war years within the framework of education.Also, in the national historical science, it is advisable to differentiate and comprehend historical events and phenomena that were previously unambiguously considered or distorted in accordance with ideological requirements, on the basis of relevant materials, from the point of view of national interests. At the same time, one should not lose sight of the need for an objective study of the daily life of Soviet women during the Great Patriotic War, including women of the West Kazakhstan region.
