The article presents the materials of archaeological research conducted in 2020 – 2022 by the employees of the Archaeological Expedition LLC on the mounds of the Early Iron Age burial ground of Tausamaly. The monument is located in the Aksu district of the Zhetysu region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 30 m east of the village of Tausamaly and 1.5 km southeast of the district center of the village of Zhansugurov. The burial ground occupies the cone of the outflow of the Aksu River in the gorge of the Kairakkol ridge, at its exit from the Kapal-Arasan basin. It consists of about 122 mounds. During the period of work from 2020 to 2022, 10 mounds were investigated. In 2020 there will be two mounds No. 33 and 34, in 2021 there will be two mounds No. 2 and 90, in 2022 there will be six mounds №№25, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95. The list may include a mound excavated in 2019 as part of emergency work on the Almaty – Ust-Kamenogorsk. A significant part of the burial ground consists of mounds with fences at a distance from the embankment. During the period of work on the project, archaeological research was carried out at two sites No. 33 and No. 95. The fence of the first mound is rectangular, the fence of the second is round. Burials in stone boxes were found in both mounds. Orientation of the buried to the western sector. No burial equipment was found during the study. Analogies to the mounds are found in the monuments of the end of the I millennium BC and the turn of the era on the territory of Zhetysu. There are also more distant connections to the monuments of Eastern Kazakhstan, Sayano-Altai and Mongolia.
