The purpose of the research work is to reveal the historical meaning of the activities of Kazakh figures who realized the need to serve their people, the political source of the people, the awakening of the people's desire for knowledge, the eradication of illiteracy.

One of the main tasks of the article is devoted to the historical analysis of the turning points of the life and activities of prominent public and statesmen Sadykbek Saparbekov and Abulkhair Dosov, who left a deep mark on socio-political life in the 20-40s of the twentieth century. In addition, much attention was paid to the reasons for Stalin's repressions against major figures Abulkhair Dosov and Saparbekov Sadykbek, who took an active part in the creation of Soviet power in Kazakhstan, who made a great contribution to the organization and management of the party-state business in the republic.

The relevance of the research work determines the close continuity of the activities and ideological initiatives of the intelligentsia of the first half of the XX century with the political and ideological positions of modern independent Kazakhstan. At present, it is important to form a political intelligent environment in our society that will follow the interests of the intelligentsia of the past. After all, global trends can influence the younger generation to move away from national values and interests of the intelligentsia.

The results of the study were determined by the historical aspects of the way of struggle of some intellectuals of past eras in the formation and strengthening of the state.
