To better understand the negative aspects of politics in relation to religion and believers, Muslim institution and organizations, it is necessary to draw appropriate conclusions from the lessons of the past. The opportunity that independence gives to objectively study the problems of the one-sided negative atheistic policy of the Soviet government towards believers, religious institutions and organizations should be fully realized in its enormous role. A number of authors have recently written about the Soviet state's policy of repression against believers, religious values and the reasons for their separation from religious scholars. They describe the repression carried out by the Soviet authorities in Karakalpakstan, including repression of believers, religious policies, religious restrictions, and the position of believers during the totalitarian regime. However, in the works published in the 60-80s of the last century, it is clear that the communist ideology completely dominates in relation to Islam and religious organizations. The article tells about Kalimbet akhun Utemuratov, one of the repressed clergy who suffered from the religious policy of the Soviet government. The article was written using archival materials, memories of descendants about their grandfather and books published on this topic in different years.
