In this article, based on the analysis of the collected reports on implemented scientific projects, the fundamental directions of history investigations of Kazakhstan during the years of independence are considered. Implemented scientific projects have filled modern historical science with new knowledge based on the study of materials from various archival funds, identified innovative tools for research work. They reflect the various directions of the country's development over the years of independence: contribute to the disclosure of the content and essence of socio-economic and social processes. Modern society is characterized by the dynamics of socio-economic and social processes, which requires their comprehensive knowledge and understanding, research of new trends and directions. They are the object of active scientific analysis by historians, political scientists, economists. The social security of society is connected with the active development of modernization processes. A new model of economic growth is in demand, which will ensure the country's global competitiveness. Social integration and interethnic consolidation are among the essential factors of stability and sustainability of the multiethnic state, socio-economic growth of Kazakhstan.
The learning of the history of Kazakhstan determines the relevance of a systematic and in-depth study of all spheres of society, which are closely interrelated with each other. Methods of interdisciplinary communication and historical informatics have been systematically developed. The results of scientific projects are aimed at developing new theoretical and methodological approaches and expanding the source base for the study of national history.
