Тhe article analyzes osteological materials from excavations No. 6, the ancient monument Babish-Mola 7 in the lower reaches of the Syr Darya All 64 samples of mammals’ bone remains were studied, where 60 samples identified as animal species. All species of domesticated and two species of wild ungulates were revealed during the paleozoological study.
The description of the bones was carried out according to standard methods, the species composition of the bone residues, the composition of the elements of the skeleton of each species, the age characteristics of the bone residues, the nature of fragmentation were determined. According to the degree of fragmentation, the bones were divided into two groups - entries and fragments. A morphometric analyses was carried out on all suitable bones for measurement. Some osteometric data were compared with data from other excavations.
