The first congress, which brought together Kazakhs from around the world, was convened in 1992. During the foundation was created the World Association of Kazakhs which unites all the Kazakhs of the world.
The article discusses the role of the World Association of Kazakhs in building mutual relations and helping our compatriots from all over the globe. The Association maintains close contacts with Kazakhs living in approximately forty countries of the world and has daily contacts. The main goal of Kazakh cultural centers and societies operating in most of these countries is to preserve their national identity, language and culture. The World Association of Kazakhs has become the center of the Kazakh diaspora in the far and near abroad with a variety of topical issues.
