The article examines the level of preservation, development and crisis state of traditional music, national art of the кazakh diaspora in the countries of the near and far abroad. The ways of preserving the national spirit of compatriots far from the motherland will also be analyzed and the prospects of кazakh traditional art abroad will be studied.

Along with strengthening its independence, our country began to pay special attention to the Kazakh diaspora in the countries of the near and far abroad. The history of our compatriots, who at one time, for various reasons, moved from the Kazakh land to other territories, cannot but worry none of us. After all, being in this foreign country, they make every effort to preserve their national identity, historical memory, basic values, especially national music.

Especially the authors try to pay special attention to the spiritual potential of compatriots in neighboring Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and not to ignore the traditional music of the Kazakhs of China, Mongolia, Iran.
