Borrowings and plagiarism

When checking the manuscript for compliance with the basic requirements (design of the manuscript), the editorial board determines the text of the manuscript through the university's plagiarism check system.

According to the results of the anti-plagiarism (License) system, original manuscripts with an authenticity of more than 75% will be sent for additional consideration. If authors use a work, article, rule, or citation, as well as the opinions of other researchers, when writing a manuscript, they must legally formalize the text of the citation by quoting the work of these scientists. Plagiarism is an action that violates the principles of the Code of Ethics of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

The members of the editorial board of the journal "Historical and Socio-political Sciences" of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, the international community and the authors, reviewers undertake not to violate the principles, standards and norms of scientific ethics adopted by the Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The author (s) of the article, which revealed and proved the violation of the principles, standards and norms of scientific ethics, will not be able to submit the article to the Bulletin of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai series "Historical and socio-political sciences" for 1 year.

Artificial Intelligence Usage Rules

The permissible use of artificial intelligence tools in the preparation of an article is up to 10%. Articles in which AI accounts for between 11% and 15% require revision, whilst articles in which AI accounts for more than 16% will not be considered and will be rejected.

Permitted uses of AI include: data processing and analysis, searching for and organising information, editing text without altering the substance of the scientific content, visualising information, and formatting the article.

It is not permitted to use AI to develop the main scientific idea or conclusions, to substitute the author’s own analysis and research, or to generate text that replaces the author’s own writing of sections of the article.
