SOME FACTS FROM LIFE AND ACTIVITY ECETA KOTIBAROV

Published June 2021
Abstract

In this article, based on the use of the multi-volume composition of Turkestan Collection, the author analyzed the main stages of the life path and activities of the outstanding Kazakh batyr of the fighter for independence and freedom of his people Iset Kotibarov. One of the most important tasks of a sovereign state, once again gaining political independence, is the revival of national history. In addition, real sovereignty is impossible without the citizenship of the people living in the territory of a given state. Story provides specific knowledge about the past of the Fatherland, forms a sense of ownership in people in the past, develops the ability to analyze and evaluate complex and diverse historical phenomena, and allows one to determine objective criteria that serve as the basis for individual behavior and activity.
Over the years of independence, thanks to the efforts of Kazakhstan researchers, the previously torn and distorted pages of national history were rediscovered. At the same time, many questions still remain that require modern rethinking in terms of new conceptual and methodological approaches.Among them are relevant studies of the life and work of historical figures, whose multifaceted and full of important historical events activity in the current generation evokes feelings of pride and admiration, and stimulates them to patriotic actions for the good of our Motherland and people. Such people certainly include the legendary batyr Eset Kotibarov, who left a deep mark in the history of his people.
