The article highlights the trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey, which is one of the most important links between the countries. Mutual visits of state officials have become an important indicator for the intensity of cooperation. Although Turkey is currently the leader in terms of investment directed to the construction of Kazakhstan, there are also constraints in this area. Among them the lack of coordinated work of ministries and departments if possible Turkish companies in the modernization of Kazakh enterprises; weak ties between business associations of both countries; a wait-and-see attitude on the part of Turkish large capital in long-term investments. The issue of closer joint relations between the governments of Kazakhstan and Turkey, which would allow coordinating activities in the sphere of the economy of the two countries, is acute.
