The article analyzes the works of S. Amanzholov, dedicated to the study of Kazakh tribes and their symbols. The scientific achievements of the scientist in the study of Kazakh tribes were evaluated. The article analyzes the works of the famous Kazkh scientist S. Amanzholov on the ethnogenesis of the Kazakh people. The article assesses S. Amanzholov’s work on the study of the history of three zhuzes of the Kazakh people. S. Amanzholov's work "Questions of dialectology and history of the Kazakh language", dedicated to the Kazakh dialectology and history of the Kazakh people and the history of the Kazakh language, was also considered. This area was studied by scientists for fifteen years and left a lot of work. The most difficult research in his works on the way to science was the work "Questions of dialectology and history of the Kazakh language".
