In the last quarter of the twentieth century, there was the study of previously unexplored facts which were not included in scientific papers or merely were considered in small details. Among such issues are those related to the daily life of the deported peoples in the USSR in the 30-50s of the twentieth century, that is, about their historical fate and the painful days that they went through.
Among the nationalities who suffered the heavy burden of history were Poles. Although the studies of Poles deported to our republic are extensive, the extent of the deformation of their social fate and their miserable condition in everyday life have not yet been fully studied. The article explores the issues of settlement, economic and labor arrangements, social security, industrial and social activities of the special settlers. It is noted that labor for deported polan was a factor of survival and adaptation in places of special settlements.The main purpose of the article is to consider the daily life of Poles deported to Kazakhstan as one of the realities of the Stalin era. The analysis of the daily life and hard life of Poles deported to the territory of Kazakhstan, in adaptation to a new place based on the memories of Polish citizens and their descendants, scientific research and materials on the pages of the press was carried out. The ways of their use as forced labor in agriculture and industry are shown. Poles made up the vast majority of those deported to the territory of Kazakhstan, and their condition was severe. Before returning to their homeland, famine, various epidemics, painful hard labor, refusal to accept Soviet citizenship (1943) were repressed, and the arrested Poles, like other deported nationalities, went through difficult days.
