Abstract

The article presents a new view of the events of the great Patriotic war, since until today many aspects of the Second World war were not sufficiently studied. The war year events as the relationship of the Soviet government with the German army, ethnic conflicts, forced deportation, the opening of the Second front, the official position of the British government, and many other problems are revealed by modern researchers of the war year events from a new point of view. This process recently has been influenced by many identified factors. For example, the declassification facts of many “secret” documents, the disappearance of some states from the historical and political world arena. The authors tried to express a new point of view on the above events, as well as they assess the role of Kazakhstan in the Second World war and the relationship of the population of our Republic with forcibly deported peoples.
