The article discusses the main directions of strategic cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian fields. It is emphasized that the strategic partnership of the two countries is based on a solid foundation of friendship and the common history of the Belarusian and Kazakh peoples, and building friendly and mutually beneficial relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan has become a priority of the foreign policy of the Republic of Belarus since it gained sovereignty.
The relevance of the article lies in the fact that Kazakhstan occupies a special place in the foreign policy of Belarus as a time-tested, reliable ally. The importance of strategic interaction between Belarus and Kazakhstan in all spheres of interstate cooperation will only increase due to the need to develop and strengthen the Eurasian space, as well as due to the tough sanctions policy of the collective West against Belarus. It is noted that the high level of Belarusian-Kazakh cooperation was largely achieved thanks to the personal efforts of the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko and the leaders of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Presidents N.A. Nazarbayev and K.K. Tokayev.
